Sales and demand forecasting: Project details

Project Details

Use Project details screen to update details of new or existing projects. Details can be saved upon update and the user can also setup a level of logging to be used in case of troubleshooting or identify the location of the project (project path) on the local computer or network drive.

Updating Project Details

User can update any project details apart from Project ID which is system generated unique project identifier. User can move to the next step by clicking on the Next button or can save updated project details by clicking on the Save project button.

Fields Definition

Project ID

This is system generated unique project ID and user cannot update this field.

Project Name

User can add or update project name and this field is limited to 200 characters. It is recommended to use logical naming convention for project name e.g. 2021-06-25 Sales and Demand Forecasting.

Project Notes

This is an optional field and it is representing detailed description of the project. Length is limited to 1000 characters.

Change Log

This is an optional field and it is representing user descriptions of changes on the project. Length is limited to 1000 characters. Example:

• 2021/06/02 – Changed description
• 2021/06/29 – Data imported
• 2018/06/02 – Project created

Project Created

Date and time is automatically updated when project has been saved for the very first time.

Project Updated

Date and time is automatically updated when user clicks on Save button and details on the screen have been changed. This field is also getting updated if there is a change on settings on any of following screens.

Last trainer execution

This date field is relevant to algorithms where customer-specific training has to be executed and it is blank for algorithms where local algorithm training is not required.

Last trainer successful

This date field is relevant to algorithms where customer-specific training has to be executed and it is blank for algorithms where local algorithm training is not required.

Logging level

Default value for logging level is set to Warning however user can change this value if more detailed logging is required in case of troubleshooting.

Project Path

This is an informational field where user can review what is the exact location (project path) of the project on local or network drive.
